Our leader is Daniel Smart (nurseryman and manager of Bunya Native Nursery, Dural) who knows the area well as a seed collecting locality.
Allow about an 1 h 20 min to get there from the North Shore (depending on traffic):
- From the M5 take Heathcote Road for 4 km
- Turn left onto The Avenue, over the railway bridge
- Turn left at second roundabout
- After 150 m, turn right at T junction onto Sirius Road
- Meet at the firetrail trackhead opposite Voyager Park (lake and playground) on Sirius Road
