Walk: Fairyland

Registration essential

We will walk to the old Fairyland Pleasure Ground ... a nice gentle walk for a Sunday! Fairyland was a former recreation and picnic area on the Lane Cove River. We will discuss both the history and the future, including the environmental impact and future restoration of the site.

Time: 8:45 for a 9 am start
Length: 1.5 km, one to two hours
Grade: easy
Meet: 142 River Avenue, Chatswood West (enter near Fullers Bridge) and park near the entrance to the Fairyland Track
Bring: water, walking shoes, hat, sunscreen
Refreshments: provided after the walk
