Jacob Sife is the Manager of Environment and Sustainability at Ku-ring-gai Council. In his talk Jacob will talk about biodiversity conservation now and in the future.
Jacob started his career as a ecological consultant before moving into local government where he could work on innovative and sustainable solutions to complex environmental problems. Jacob leads a team of 25 professionals including scientists, engineers and ecologists, who deal with sustainability engagement, threatened species management, environmental strategy and assessment, emergency preparedness, policy development, net zero and environmental volunteering.
