Shaun Warden, citizen scientist, wildlife rehabilitator, educator and aspiring veterinarian will talk to us about the nutrition of wildlife and the effects this can have on trophic cascades from eucalypt to Powerful Owl.
Shaun will also introduce us to a new program called the Growing Food for Wildlife Project – an exciting initiative that unites community groups and the general public in a shared mission to learn about local wildlife and their interactions with native plant species. This project provides a fantastic opportunity for the community to actively contribute to wildlife rehabilitation. By enhancing and extending habitats, we encourage the activity of local fauna and invertebrate species while offering everyone the chance to delve into the natural world.
In Shaun's words:
These workshops and working bees are lively and enriching events. You can look forward to engaging educational talks, weed ID, plant maintenance and the excitement of planting new and fascinating plants. We also have spirited discussions about wildlife and plenty of laughs along the way.
