Walk: Pennant Hills Park

We will examine the effect of bush fires on the ecosystems in the future as we walk down a well-formed fire trail to the Lane Cove River. We start in a casuarina forest on the top of the ridge and end up in wet sclerophyll forest.

Time: 8.45 for a 9 am start
Length: 3 km, about 2 hours
Grade: moderate, 100 m elevation
Meet: Northern Archers archery ground at the end of the road that runs through Pennant Hills Park off Britannia Street
Bring: water, walking shoes, hat, sunscreen
